What it filters
- On by default: crypto spam, promotional posts, excessive formatting (hashtag walls, emoji floods, ALL CAPS).
- Optional: generic advice, formulaic threads, engagement bait.
You choose what happens to a matched post: Dim it, Collapse it, or Hide it. Every changed post says which filter matched, and two clicks fix a mistake: Show anyway restores the post, Not relevant tells the filter it was wrong.
Local by default, Deep Filter by choice
The standard filter runs entirely inside your browser: no account, no sign-in, and nothing about the posts you read leaves your device.
The optional Deep Filter sends the text of visible posts to ByHuman for smarter classification. It is off until you explicitly turn it on, requires signing in, explains exactly what is sent and stored before the first request, and includes 500 analyses a month for free. Details are in the privacy policy.
Publish on X too? The same extension can create signed writing receipts that show how your own posts were written. Entirely separate, entirely optional.
